Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Emma’s vision for a more inclusive food movement drives her work in environmental justice advocacy and community engagement.

After completing a master’s program in Italy studying global food systems & cultures, Emma is thrilled to be returning to the world of school food with LunchAssist. As Communication & Training Coordinator, she develops content for the LunchAssist PRO platform and keeps the School Nutrition community informed with policy updates, upcoming events, and new resources via our weekly newsletter and social media platforms. Her experience as a sustainability educator, policy and social justice advocate, researcher, performer, gastronome, and cook gives vibrance to her work on our team.
