Amanda is a dedicated school nutrition leader and passionate food justice advocate with over 12 years of experience.

She spent eight years at the Colorado Department of Education, honing her skills in all things school nutrition. Additionally, she built skills in strategic planning, project management, and process and program improvement. This role solidified her as a school nutrition nerd! She loves supporting school nutrition professionals in meeting their goals. Amanda is currently a contractor, which allows her to explore the world with her family. Over the past two years, they have lived in Portugal, Spain, and Mexico. As a contractor, she focuses on improving school nutrition programs through innovation, strong relationships, and humor.
